A report prepared by Dr. Waleed Khalid Abdulkarim, Head of Psychology Department, College of Education at Charmo University published in "Zhyar" Scientific and Educational Journal:

Although the subjects in schools are being taught in different ways but the types of the way of teaching should match the type of subject. However, most of the styles that are commonly used in the educational institutions pay great attention to memorizing. This incorrect process of teaching leads to weakening students’ rational ability because of overloaded and complex information that requires a great attention and memorizing to be dealt with. This complicated situation that human memory faces is called cognitive load and it can be divided into three types. The first one is called internal load which refers to the inherent complexity of the learning material. Secondly, External load that is created by the impediments to learning and it is more related to the style that is used by the teachers. The third type is connected to the students themselves that they don’t know how to deal with the information. Therefore, teacher should notice that all these reasons are leading students being tedium and inactive concerning the learning process.
