The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has decided to open a new door to improve the vocational and scientific aspect of education in Kurdistan

In the aim at creating new generation at universities and tie education to the market of human resources and providing career to the students and civilians; till they can get their own modern work in a highest quality.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has decided to open a new door to improve the vocational and scientific aspect of education in Kurdistan. In this regard, we announce to open two new vocational private universities in both Erbil and Sulaimani.
In doing this, we ask the investors, the ones have scientific and financial capacity and interested in doing these types of projects to send their proposal to the Ministry HQ and the deadline is Nov 11th, 2016.
The Conditions:
1. The University is specified to the vocational and scientific aspects
2. The period of studying in these universities will be between 2-4 years
3. The system to be fulfilled has to be either German or US based.
4. It has to provide the whole necessities and facilities regarding labs and maintenance.
The institute pays attention to the IT, Petroleum Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business and Vocational relevant, and the Chart Technology.
The Institute is Credit based system like the European Credit and US ECTS.
The system of grades is point based system in which cumulate is between 2-4 years. It is in a way which is vis-à-vis of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s policy.
It is important for the one who fulfil the project:
1. Has the PhD in vocational and scientific certificate
2. Has a good experience in the US, European system
3. Has a good experience in Kurdistan Region’s system of higher education
